Being at Choice is a wonderful and powerful state of being, one that many don't realize they have access to.People who do not realize and accept their innate ability to choose often feel victimized by the system.
Better information systems that offer people direct access to (and immediate gratification from) the universe of Choice will help to make clear one's options as well as the consequences of one's actions.
Yes, there will be some "defectors" (viz the Prisoner's Dilemma "game") -- these exist now -- but given better visibility into causes and solutions, it is my (perhaps idealistic, but firmly held) belief that socially beneficial decisions will prevail.
